The design team has injected this idea into the space to create unique imagery. This design project is located in the heart of the new central city area of Nanjing, China, a metropolitan area with an excellent transportation system, financial service centers, high-tech software cooperation, and a residential area. In a crowded and fast-paced city like this, the pursuit of poetic living has become a trend in recent years. The philosophy of Zen is manifested to live a simple and elegant daily life and to pursue inner peace and tranquility.
Entering the reception foyer, one will be greeted by a lush pine tree at the entrance, which is unique and exciting. The design team has effortlessly interconnected the spatial relationship by using light as a guide. The layout of the building is cut by the proportion of tension and relaxation so that the visual senses are extended, and the spiritual mood can be perceived simultaneously. On the other hand, dark colors are planned in the sand display area, combined with simple artistic lighting and light from the windows so that light and dark intertwine to weave a hazy and quiet atmosphere. Moreover, a few green plants bring a touch of greenery and vitality to the space. Leading to the spacious conversation area, an off-white combination of sofa and stone coffee table is placed to create the ultimate comfortable spatial experience through color and material texture. Beautifully, the elements outline light and elegant Zen feeling through the progressive grille, light and spreading pine branches, and ink and calligraphy. The designer has skillfully utilized the warm characteristics of wood, and the design is a perfect match with the black and white gray tones, and at the same time, creates a delicate oriental atmosphere.
