This case is a new single-story residential plan with an indoor area of a bit more than 30 square meters. It overcomes the limitations of its original floor space by proportionally integrating practical and non-intruding functional layouts to meet the comfort, relaxation, security and sense of specialness that young couples look for as the core of its inspiration.
The front entrance area and the kitchen are only separated by a cabinet and the floors of the two areas are uniformly laid down with colored hexagonal bricks to match the wooden floors used in the living room and reading area. The open area has a low-key theme to it with lowered TV benches, high bar areas to replace traditional dining tables, sofas, reading area couches are staggered to create different levels and random moments of fun such as standing up to eat, being able to sit or lie down life and relaxing at home.
Color planning is also one of the techniques for creating different sensory levels. In addition to the soft focus contrast of different materials, high-brightness colors such as sapphire blue, white, free-flowing marbling patterns and gentle wood patterns are boldly blended together to create an exclusive style featuring sharp edges and corners. The sapphire blue walls also integrate the two independent entrances of the master bedroom and the bathroom.
In addition, in order to create sufficient storage space in public areas, there are plenty of detailed concealment in many places: including the built-in rotating shoe rack in the shoe cabinet at the entrance, the upper cabinet in the kitchen is set at the height of the ceiling and there’s a large storage space under the sofa in the reading area. It is the ultimate implementation of a design with the intention of giving back space to people and their lives.
