The Yingshang Impression

The design is inspired by different forms of water, reviving the culture of Yingshang county. The golden streamlines, like the murmur of river water, flow down the white walls. The overall palette is set with white and champagne gold with some green and wooden elements as decoration. Integrating Yingshang culture to the modern design, the architecture passes down the heritage with novelty and aesthetics..

A great amount of sunlight falls indoors through the skylight, expanding the spacious perception. The curved white walls and golden lines appeared warmer with natural light. The thought-through arranges a similar color palette with atrium outline transitions to create multilayers in the consistent aesthetic. One of the section’s lights swirl down from the ceiling. With the skylights under each floor, it illuminates the space with unexpected creativity. The other section is arranged with streamlines from the top, and is connected to the second atrium through fiber optic lights. Light and shadow on the flooring echo with each other in the space. The final section integrates the traditional design of Yingshang flower drum lamp, applying champagne gold aluminum ceiling with curved shaped lights. The surface goes fluidly, which finally merges with the hallway, decorated by some greenery and some shopping areas as a pause in the design.

The children’s playroom is designed with white as the basis and olive green as the side color. The curved lines on the ceiling echo with the roundabout walkway, creating a consistent visual aesthetic. The designer applies all kinds of details and turns them into creative fun. For example, tiffany blue and white palette applied in the children’s restrooms. One room is decorated with an alien decoration on the mosaic walls. Another is designed with vertical lines and short arch doors to create a place children love. The rose gold children's elevator floor continues the theme, creating a curved arched shape elevator as if entering a space capsule that transports one to any place.
