Understanding mothers’ difficulties and fatigue during the postpartum period, the postpartum care nursing center provides a much private reception hall with a fluid flow. Different from the common image of a nursing center, it is designed with a richer elegant color palette that carefully covers mothers’ tired faces. Under a much relaxing atmosphere, mothers can as well choose from three personal rooms of different themes, based on their preferences and personalities, enjoying time spent here with a caring service. Through offering an environment with its special choices of color palette/textures, a mature and caring feeling is provided.
The use of golden titanium and white marbles decorate the space of wooden lines, emphasizing the reception as the focus at the entrance. The fluid lines, layers and lighting design on the ceiling symbolize each stage of pregnancy/patrum, the regular rhythm of life. They also interpret multiple layers of mothers’ love. A sense of fluid energy flows from the ceiling down to the wall, connecting lines and embedded lights to the inclined planes. While the main tone intertwines with the wood grains, they strike a great balance in the space, expanding the visual depth, establishing a dynamic stream of atmosphere and a smooth flow.
The personal rooms are designed based on three themes: “Think, Love, and Dream,” with their corresponding color palettes.

“The Think space,” goes well with the choice of denim blue and forest green. Symbolizing reflection with tranquility and a peaceful mind, the designer wishes mothers are able to relax and think about future plans in this environment, as well as hoping for others' empathy thinking from mother’s point of view.

“The Love space,” is designed with peachy pink, amber yellow, and heartwood brown, these earth tone colors with vibrancy and richness, showing the intimate connection between mothers and children.

“The Dream space,” instead, applies oak wood grains, antique purple and calm grey as the combination. Depicting a space for dreams, a worry-free environment, the palette is a wish for a great start of nurture, with the help of the nursing center.
