Funworld Sales Center, Rizhao

With blue oceanic planet as the theme for this project, the designers adopted the concept of urban naturalism, and drew on visual elements such as a shoal of fish, coral, seashell, jellyfish, whale and sea waves, to portray fantasy oceanic scenes that bring tactile experiences. The team combined natural materials and light and shadow effects, and integrated solidness and void, thus optimizing sensory experiences in the space.
The jellyfish-shaped suspended lamps above the sales control counter draw visitors’ eyes, and echo the bronze sculpture by artist Li Lvye below, both of which add a humanistic, artistic touch to the space.
The lighting fixture above the property model display area absorbs the artistic element of a shoal of fish. The lighting tubes are arranged in an orderly manner, hence vividly revealing an aesthetic image as if a shoal of fish freely swims under the sea.
The tables and desks in the negotiation area adopt a color palette of blue and white, which fills the space with oceanic elements.
Symmetric layout is adopted in the contract signing area, which produces a sense of elegance and purity. White-toned sofas and adornments endow the space with a tranquil, hazy aesthetic, and blue single chairs generate a spatial atmosphere with oceanic charm and softness.
Curved lines are fused into the space, which weaken the sharpness and three-dimensional quality of straight lines. Such eclectic design languages show the soft beauty and inner strength of water. The arc-shaped entrance of the kids’ play area links with the negotiation area in a natural manner.
The theme of ocean runs through the spatial narratives. In this project, it's translated into an artistic landmark between the city and nature, and also a humanistic carrier and a spiritual guide.
