Light and Sense

In a cuboid space with limited volume, no lighting and no landscape, we extracted the triangular geometry in the light and shadow prism as the construction element, and gave five different spatial themes through different angles of deflection, which are relatively independent and interconnected. Each subject is then continuously decomposed, progressive, hierarchical and interspersed to form an orderly spatial rhythm. While expanding the space, more exhibition space was also added. Using the layered and detailed construction method, the hierarchical relationship formed by the folding surface of the shape makes the light and dark have more light and shadow superposition. Light has different textures on different materials, and while fully understanding the characteristics of the material, we give it the corresponding space and lay it out in an appropriate way. Explore inward along the light field, travel freely, and experience the mood changes brought about by the influence of light on the building mass, color relationship, material texture, etc. Intentional from the design, immersion allows the technique to fade away, leaving it for the viewer to experience.From the physical properties, we schedule different numerical lighting parameters, simulate the orbit and color temperature changes of sunlight at four o'clock a day, and capture the impact and changes on people from the accuracy of light and the texture of light; From the spiritual level, when light is projected on an object, through different reflections, refractions, transmissions, shadows, and presented on different materials, the texture changes and spatial atmosphere brought about by it trigger the five senses. People are the subjects that need the most attention in space, and this case is a practice and exploration of lighting space design, and it is also a perceptual place that allows people to experience light in multiple dimensions.
