Su’s cat house

"Su's Cat House" serves one person and two cats, and the design takes into account the different habits of both. From a human perspective, the design team planned the left side (reception area) and the right side (private area). The project is positioned in a calm gray tone and urban chic. The two sides are clearly delineated but connected. The social area is grand, calm, and organized, allowing people to speak freely, while the private area extends the scale of the space with abundant lighting, making people feel relaxed. Moving between the two areas allows for a shift in the mode of life and communication.
From the cat's point of view, the privacy of the cat walkway combined with the vertical cat platform keeps the routes consistent and smooth. The integration of the cat walkway with the cabinet and corridor increases functionality and makes the cat facility suit the home. Through the customized cutouts, the client can keep an eye on the cats and interact with them at any time, thus enhancing the bond between them. By placing the entire design by the window, the cats and humans can enjoy the beautiful sunlight and window view together, based on the mutual dependence of people and pets in contemporary society. Living in the same home and viewing the same scene is one of the ideals of a human-cat house.
