Square and Round Home

In this three-generation house, the high functional storage and feng shui culture are the core concerns of this project. It masters the steady color usage and skillfully incorporates feng shui culture into the space, while activating its function.

Finally, the square and round arc lines symbolizing the humanism, harmony, smoothness and reunion are implanted into the general planning, and the best wishes for "home" are presented sincerely through the design and planning.


The materials are generally marble and wood with low chroma and natural grain as the color collocation spindle, supplemented by some metal material ornaments, to increase the interest of space and material complementarity.

In the long entryway, the black-mirror and gray-glass display cabinet makes it interesting from entering the door.

On both sides of the entryway, there are the shoe cabinet, storage cabinet, dirty cloth wardrobe, and piano practice area; the long-shape design not only integrates the storage function to make the space more integral, but also extends the length of the vision.

Across the entryway, there is the open and bright living and dining space; under the ceiling with indirect illuminant of square and round light strips and the single or double spotlights, it is the core place that the family reunites.

The master bedroom and the three secondary bedrooms have a large number of multi-purpose or hidden storage spaces respectively. At the same time, the designer also take into account the world's usage habits and feng shui considerations, and add various ingenious designs to make the seemingly simple space full of surprises.
