The project is a new business form layout of Leaer, a brand rooted in Xi’an for years, in China Western Film Group TIME. It is positioned as a high-end customized brand. The design emphasizes the idea that less is more to show the classic style. The designer breaks the stereotype of traditional eyeglasses shops, puts art and utility in the space, takes golden and black as the main colors and, with a mindset of museum display, highlights the textures and details of each pair of glasses.
In the planning of the foot traffic lines, the curve serves as the soul of the space. As we step into the space, an s-shaped curve comes into view, and guides us in. The curved profile cut out in the ceiling adds to the orientation of the flow of people and the sense of flow of the space. Different functional zones are partitioned with the curved walls. The walls apply the same materials as the ground, which ingeniously integrates the space by accident, while strengthening the sense of curve and unity of the space.
Copper-colored stainless steel booths are placed on the ground. They vary in shape, like drops of water falling from the air, winding as a natural flow. A large number of curve elements create the foot traffic of the space, where man and space permeate each other. Such a foot traffic conveys a brand-new exploration to the public, who can feel the sense of wrapping and tranquility of the space endowed by the curves between the shuttle and the stay.
The space also enriches the customer experience with various forms of booths. The decorative columns of the booths are derived from the shape and design concept of trees. They respectively “grow” up and down, with infinite extension, to expand the spatial vision wide and deep, and give the space more dimensions. The opposite “tree trunks” serve as booths to display glasses. At the other end, the top-down trunks become light sources, each of which creates real effects rather than mere modeling.
