The arcs of the architecture are extended to the interior space. The interior structures are given abstract geometric shapes. Spherical, arc and linear elements are integrated into the modern, artistic design. The spatial dimension is reconstructed by geometric points, lines and planes. Volumes with different shapes and textures are cut and reconstructed in a certain order, so as to form distinctive forms, making the space appear like a time tunnel.
The cave-like reception area is outlined by smoothly curved elements. The soft, winding lighting is a clue for guiding visitors to stop, move forward or take steps back, and to encounter the unexpected at every corner. This area is like a miniature modern amusement park, and also an orange-toned spatial transit station.
Based on various considerations, the design team conceived an immersive, functional and experience-oriented reading area. The graceful lighting strip adds a sense of fluidity and a dynamic rhythm to this area, and meanwhile echoes the winding steps beneath. People can sit on the multi-layer steps, enjoying reading book. Through the subtle arrangement of structures, this area provides a unique, inspiring reading environment.
A spiral, artistic staircase links the first and second floors. Its curved lines endow the space with an introverted yet tensioned touch. The spiral rhythm reveals aesthetics, and generates a free, fluid spatial atmosphere.
