Zhaoshang Park Avenue Community Thematic Social Hub Design

The project transforms the overhead space of Park Avenue Community in Chongchuan District, Nantong City, from a vacant area into a vibrant metropolitan social hub that fuses retro elements with contemporary flair. By combining nature, art, and multicultural elements, it creates a space for interaction that opens 24 hours a day, offering a high-quality, luxurious and elegant experience.

Drawing inspiration from fantasy music festivals, Fauvist floral art, and retro vinyl music, the design introduces three thematic spaces: “Heated Trend Hub”, “Brand Celebration Lounge” and “Melodic Retreat”. At the entrance, a Prada-green marble wall with metallic lines and a glass screen set a ceremonious tone. An art gallery corridor, lined with hanging paintings, guides visitors, while an adjustable ink green art screen cleverly divides functional areas. In Heated Trend Hub, teak wood paneling, deep coffee-colored metals, and ink green glass create a retro vibe. Ring-shaped lighting, lush greenery, coffee installations, and a bar counter together form an elegant social hub. The Brand Celebration Lounge features artistic folding screens and glass wall sconces, enhanced by Fauvist floral arrangements and tiered seating for a variety of leisure experiences. The Melodic Retreat centers around a vintage vinyl record player, immersing visitors in a music-themed atmosphere. The walls, adorned with vinyl records and acrylic decorations, evoke the classic charm of 1980s record stores. Meanwhile, a “chieftain chair” in the corner offers a cozy, private space for people to relax and enjoy the unique sound of vinyl.
